Rainy day

Today in typically British fashion, and as Sod’s law would have it, has been raining and grey all day.

Naturally it waited till we were already in town to chuck it down and I had no coat, the good news is it stopped me venturing down the high street to Topshop.

Primark on the other hand was in a indoor shopping mall, they also had some beautiful winter shizzle in so I picked up a few bits. All’s well that ends well.

I got home and immediately took off my boots so i photographed them separately, I also wore my Michael Kors watch.

My cami and jeans are Topshop, my jacket is H&M and my boots are River island.

Impromptu shopping trip/mini haul

So I was at work today, standard day, when my friend who I was working with asked if I wanted to accompany her to town, I was after some ripped jeans anyway and knew it would be a nice way to spend the afternoon so i said yes.

Topshop was a big let down (I know) the colour I liked were also frayed at the bottom (not a fan) and the rest were not in my size so I ventured into Miss Selfridge where I found the 2 items pictured. 

I love them both, the jeans are super skinny but flattering too, the rip is just right as well, the top I thought was really cute, and the lace panelling gives it a little something extra, all in all I’m very pleased with my purchases.

Outfit and Mini haul

Today we had to dress up at work, I went as catwoman but didn’t get any proper pictures of my outfit, so I’ve posted what I wore after work instead.

My Mac is from Zara, my vest Topshop, my trousers are River Island Disco Pants and my biker boots are Asos.

 Me and my friend Kelly finished at the same time today so we went into town together as she had an event she needed help getting an outfit for, I wanted to get a cheer up pressie for my friend who’s in hospital and I had my eye on a certain pair of black ankle boots from Primark (the obsession continues).

Whilst there we hit Topshop (obviously) and I found this lovely little jacket in the sale and some super pretty hair accessories,  and then in Primark the boots I was after plus some frilly socks and cotton wool pads. So all in all a pretty successful trip.

                                                         It’s the weeeekennndddd, and I have Sunday off, wahoo.

A good day for cosmetics

                         

So after going to work today on one of my days off, then being asked to stay late, after my eyeliner running out that morning (first world problems) I wanted a Superdrug trip, I’m usually a Boots girl but they don’t have one by my work so Superdrug it was.

I also returned home to find my Feel Unique package on the doorstep, day better 🙂

The FU box had a repurchase of my favourite foundation, the YSL Touché Éclat in B40 and a couple of samples, and from Superdrug I got 2 of the Boujouis Rouge Velvet lip paints, a repurchase of said eyeliner, the excitement that is deodorant and body spray and a erasable eyeliner.

I’m hoping the last item will help the annoyance that is evening up your eyeliner flicks so they match, because let’s face it, it’s a process that usually takes about 3 and half weeks by which time the party’s over and the pictures are already up on Facebook. (Ok I * may* be exaggerating slightly) but you get what I’m saying.
