Neutrals and textures

So I was off Monday, at work yesterday and will be working the weekend, so today will be my lazy day. I’m actually off Sunday but like the good little employee I am I will be volunteering at the pubs family fun day, it’s for Clic Sargent a charity very close to my heart and an incredibly worthwhile cause.

Today for my outfit I gone for a typically ‘me’ casual, black, white and grey slightly grungy look. My socks I believe are from Primark and the trousers and top are from Topshop. 

The trousers are actual a velvet material and super soft, they’re super tight but comftable too and IMO make a nice change from jeans, I well and truly hopped on the patterned trouser bandwagon and I’m glad I did.

Black, white and gold

Today started off in a lazy fashion, I woke around 10, watched some Netflix, perused Facebook and Instagram and then got up and in the shower, had some lunch, got ready and headed of to meet my friend Vicky.

We are on a somewhat secret mission, seriously, mi5 should recruit us, we are planning something fabulous but I cannot say on here just yet, my lips are sealed, safe to say we’re pretty exited.

I’m in a rather dangerous ensemble of mostly white today, I love it but it’s very easy for me to mess up when I go into bull in a china shop mode, so far so good though *touches wood*.

My jeans are sheer top are Topshop, the vest underneath is H&M, the necklace is Primark, the trainers Converse, the bag and watch are Michael Kors, the jacket is Miss Selfridge and I’m wearing MAC Rebel on my lips.

Back to work after today (boo, hiss, etc)

Tube skirts and stripes

A regular work day today, but rather ok as work days go, I picked up a extra shift for next week which alleviates the shopping guilt and booked 2 weeks off for the end of  September / beginning of October so that’s something to look forward too.

I’m home till Friday now so time to relax before the weekend.

Monochrome tunic

So after today I’m back for another fun, hot weekend at work (Le sigh) yesterday was a fun packed but busy day so today I’m lazing. 

I do have my friends BBQ to look forward to on sat though, so, yay.

I wanted something lightweight yet pretty on today, just because, so I picked this tunic.

It’s from a little boutique near me, the same boutique that keeps getting featured in my outfit posts, the name of it is Jez and it’s in Leigh On Sea in Essex, I’ve just stuck a black tube skirt from H&M on underneath.

Aztec skater dress

So today was another scorcher, I’m off tomorrow though and will hopefully be catching up with my lovely friend Jen.

We are nearly at the end of July (where has this year gone?!) so a month or so and I can relish in autumn, or Fall as our lovely American friends call it.

My outfits will be more exiting then, I can dig out my amazing Zara blanket scarf and my Hunters and go kicking leaves and splashing in puddles like the child I am.

My dress is from good ol’ Primark.

Simple stripes and new nails

 

So I have another hot weekend ahead, it’s payday weekend so it will probebly be more rammed than usual, wish me luck, I got home and literally peeled my clothes off, got in the shower and now I’m sitting 😉

My dress is from Primark, last summer, they tend to have these dresses a lot though, and it was a fiver (!!!) bargain.

Lightweight and perfect for the muggy evenings, I swear though, cooled down or not if those damn seagulls wake me up at 5am again like they did this morning I will kill them myself. Ok moan over.

I also got my nails done and I love them, oh so pretty.
